I Believe, I Learn-I Unlearn, I Listen

Design as Healing
I recognize creation as a powerful space for healing the colonial wound both personally and collectively. I work alongside communities to explore community ways of organising, knowledges, practices, and relationships that sustain life.
I Believe, I Learn-I Unlearn, I Listen

I’m a designer, communicator, and researcher working across Transition Design, decolonial thought, and social change.
My work explores design as a practice of healing, care, and collective transformation. Through participatory and collaborative research, I work alongside communities to explore community economies, knowledges, practices, and relationships that sustain life within territories.
My current research focuses on the Colombian Caribbean, working alongside matronas and other community actors to explore how traditional food practices, cooking, and care sustain local food systems and open pathways towards more regenerative ways of organising life.

Disanar: A Conceptual Approach from Transition Design and Healing
This article proposes the concept of disanar (design as healing) as a critical dialogue between the framework of Transition Design and healing practices understood as ecologies of care. It argues that wounds—colonial and planetary—can become fertile territories from which to imagine dignified futures, especially in contexts of the Global South. Drawing on a conceptual, reflective, and autoethnographic methodology, the article explores how Transition Design can open itself to community-based and more-than-human knowledges that understand healing as a political-spiritual act of reweaving bonds. It maps healing across its intertwined dimensions—regeneration, reparation, restoration, and relational justice—through the mapping of concrete practices...

Manifiesto
I am a channeler, a bridge, and a creator of life. I communicate from the truth of the heart.
I recognize creation as a powerful space for healing the colonial wound while honoring the sacred: the Earth, water, air, fire, and every human and more-than-human connection.
I perceive design as a bridge and channel that interweaves multiverses. I remember decolonization as an infinite, incoherent, and uncomfortable journey. Yet, I also know that decolonization is not a panacea. I confront the past to understand where I come from. I face it and, from there, change the present narrative to create future utopias.
